Abstract

El inicio de una nueva administración en Estados Unidos ofrece al gobierno de México la oportunidad de revisar y reorientar aspectos centrales de la relación bilateral. Ambos países viven tiempos de crisis y redefinición, y han emprendido nuevas estrategias para impulsar la prosperidad y el bienestar de sus sociedades. Las prioridades anunciadas recientemente por el gobierno estadounidense sugieren la posibilidad de forjar un nuevo entendimiento que permita fomentar los intercambios económicos y fortalecer la cooperación entre ambos países.

Abstract

The start of a new administration in the United States provides Mexico with a new opportunity to review and redirect key aspects of the bilateral relationship. Both countries are going through a period of crisis and renewal, and both have undertaken new strategies to promote the prosperity and wellbeing of their societies. The priorities recently announced by the US government suggest the possibility of forging a new understanding in order to foster economic exchanges and strengthen cooperation between both countries
