Las relaciones entre México y Estados Unidos han sido tanto desfavorables para la preservación de la integración territorial y soberanía de nuestro país, como favorables para su desarrollo económico. Los vínculos con China han sido lejanos geográficamente pero con más de 100 años de existencia. El triángulo Estados Unidos-México-China ha constituido una peculiar relación desde la Guerra Fría a la coexistencia de sistemas antagónicos. Hoy surgen nuevas fricciones sino-estadounidenses que harán más difícil el obligado acercamiento de México a la República Popular China.
Abstract
The relations between Mexico and the United States have been so unfavourable for the preservation of the territorial integrity and the sovereignty of Mexico, as favourable for its development. Links with China have been geographically far away but have more than 100 years of existence. The USA-Mexico-China triangle has constituted a peculiar interdependence space from the era of cold war to that of coexistence between antagonistic systems. Today new Sino-American frictions are emerging that will make the necessary approach of Mexico to the People’s Republic of China more difficult
